We supply the materials and instruction, and each guest makes their own project to remember that special occasion. All of our clever and easy to make projects are re-created from garbage. Our projects are designed to make upcycling easy for everyone, and to highlight the history of a material while bringing it back to life! There are oodles of projects to choose from on our DIY page. RePlayGround holds recycled craft workshops in all different venues, from large-scale corporate events to small birthday parties. A UNIQUE PROJECT FOR EVERY EVENT Make magazine bead jewelry for your daughter’s birthday party, CD game spinners for your son’s Bar Mitzvah, wedding favors for that bridal shower, and much more. We can customize projects appropriate for any setting or theme. WORKSHOP AND CLASSROOM SETTINGS When we have the attention of all guests for the length of the event, we begin with an intro called What Is Upcycling? This is a presentation and discussion where we share examples of items that have been made more valuable in their “new” life. It’s a great way to stir the imagination and show what is possible with items that we usually discard. EVENT TABLE When we’re at a group event or festival, we’ll bring projects that take 5 minutes or less. This makes it easy for party goers to create their project, then continue socializing. This is a perfect eco-accent to any occasion and great for large parties. HOSTED EVENTS Need a location for your event? We'll team up with our partners at Spacecraft Brooklyn to provide you the total package: a workshop location, materials, supplies and instruction. Just bring yourself and some crafting enthusiasm, and we'll take care of the rest!
